With just over a couple of weeks until Valentines day we have compiled a list…
Welcome to… our ‘Top Holiday Packing Tips’!
Packing for your holiday can always be somewhat challenging!
Fitting half your wardrobe in your case being the hardest job of all (and obviously we always need to take everything – just in case!)
We at Flair have some nifty tricks to help you squeeze everything in and to (hopefully) arrive at the other end without a squashed, creased mass of clothes to deal with.
- Tip 1
Lay your trousers out flat in the bottom of your case first. You can then place other clothes on top and fold the remaining half of the trousers over to reduce creasing.
- TIP 2
Put smaller bags inside big ones so they take up less space.
- TIP 3
Put socks and underwear inside shoes – there’s a lot of wasted space in trainers!
- TIP 4
Wear layers on the plane to save valuable suitcase space. You can always strip off as you reach hotter destinations.
- TIP 5
Put cotton wool pads inside your compact bronzer or powders – this helps prevent the powder from breaking during the journey even if luggage handlers are slightly heavy handed!!
All of these should hopefully ease the pain of packing and ensure you are ready to hit the beach, bars and restaurants as soon as you arrive…
Don’t forget to put liquids (shampoo, body lotion etc.) inside zip-lock bags in your case to limit the damage from any spillages.
Happy Holidays from all of us at Flair x
